Re: Wine.

  • Prosecco is ridiculously tasty. Definitely give it a shot. I haven't bought in a while, so I don't have a good brand to rec, but it's pretty easy to find.

  • I actually tried Lambrusco for the first time at Olive Garden. Of course one glass of it there costs as much as the whole bottle at your local grocery store.
  • I think the best drink I had was a honey mead Whole Foods sold around Christmas time. One glass knocked you on your ass and it was soooo incredibly good.
  • I think Sutter Home White Merlot is fantastic, Beringer Moscato is faboosh! Also, Oyster Bay Pinot Noir is amazing as well... and for another sweet wine, Selbach Reisling.

Ars Vitis also has a good line of wines.

    - Sangre de Toro from Torres (Spain)

    - Casillero del Diablo from Concha y Toro (Chile)

Both are undervalued at about $10/bottle.

    - Jekel's Reisling (California) is a nice white, not too sweet

[QUOTE]It's not under $10, but it's about $12. For a decent bottle of wine, 2 bucks is negligible to me. Anyway, my go to is 7 Deadly Zins red Zin. If you're not really into red wine, I don't suggest this. Red Zin was definitely an acquired taste for me, but once I got to liking red wine, Jesus, I was hooked.

I bought this at Costco the other day!  Great bottle, and I loved the poem on the label!

Any Columbian Crest red.  Chilean wines are also a fantastic deal.
