half up hair suggestions please!!

so i'm pretty sure i'm doing my hair half up; for the ceremony i'll have a comb (something similar to below) and veil and then i'll take the veil off for the reception just leaving the comb. I'm thinking curls, but something soft, not perm-like curls. any ideas/pictures would be greatly appreciated!!

I am actually using Stephie's hair as an inspiration when I go for my trial. I am really trying to find a comb like that too but am having trouble. I got one on etsy but don't feel it is substantial enough. I dont have bangs either so if you figure it out, please send advice my way. Good luck.

Chelley, I found my comb at my dress shop, Alfred Angelo. if you have one in your area, you might try there.

The only way to get Alfred Angelo around here is through one of the local bridal shops that sell them. I may call a few to find out what they carry. Do you happen to remember the style and pricing so I have an idea?

No, sorry, I have no idea. I think it was $54.95 or something like that but I got 15% off since I got my dress there. Also try Davidsbridal.com, they have some nice ones also.
