I know you're getting sick of the dumb BIL gun stuff, but seriously it just keeps getting more dumb.  He posted about going shooting yesterday.  I don't understand the jargon (AR-15), but dh said it's a rifle (and for some reason not a 22, I don't know). 

Someone asked where he went shootting.....at his mom-a-fcking-grandma's house!  Yes, she has some land, but not that much!  You can see the effing neighbor's houses from the yard!

    He's going to kill someone.  He needs to go to a fcking gun range.

    You have to have hills/berms to shoot into and acreage to shoot a rifle on private property or you're just asking for trouble.

    Hell, people even get shot at gun ranges. Very rarely, but still.

    Isn't AR generally "assault rifle?"  Yeesh.

    Mrs.conn, there was a guy not far from my old office who did just that (built berms all around his sizeable piece of land so he could shoot his guns there) and it's nevertheless been the subject of multiple lawsuits from the neighbors.

    I don't know what AR means.  I don't care what it means.  Grandma is not living in the house right now and I have a feeling here pacifist self would not be happy.  I'd venture the neighbors aren't happy either. 

    Yes, biological brother.  They really couldn't be much more opposite.

    I just wanted to type
    alfnnn;seainlf;aose;linflk at reading that.  Because...FFS.  I mean, FFS.

    It just made my fingers go to gibberish. FFS.  It's cheap to shoot at a 'real' range.
