Wedding Venue Blahs!

So everytime I think we have decided on a venue for the cermony and reception something comes up eg
1. Woodland Park Zoo- 2000 for reception and ceremony its ok until I have $600 added in for chair fees and 200 for tables and nickle and dime me to death.
2. Point Defiance Zoon- 1300 no extra: my dad said he'd be pissed if I got married at the zoo. So that takes care of 1 &2.
3. Destination wedding Hawaii- Elder family cannot come
So right now we are looking for something a little different not religious and outdoors
any ideas?
One place we are considering is Leavenworth which is beautiful any ideas there?
We are both half asian and love asian food any ideas for Tacoma or Eastside?

Thanks so much

Check out the Lake Union Cafe. They can customize your menu to include asian inspired dishes, have all tables chairs linens etc, and there isn't a fee to have your ceremony AND reception if you are having 100+ guest count.

Look up parks and Rec for the different cities you are considering and you may have some more luck that way. We are having our wedding in bellingham at the ferry cruise terminal and bc it's owned by the city/state, it's only 100/hr (1g fo the entire day), includes tables and chairs, and you can have whatever caterer we want (while indoors and looking over the water/mountains). It all depends on what you are specifically looking for, but consider seattle/tacoma/wherever parks and rec because you will have more wiggle room for things, and most places have an indoor venue.

What about renting a private home in Leavenworth that is big enough to accomodate your guest list?  You could find a place on the river there with a large outdoor area for the ceremony?  Then rent a large tent. Try VRBO.com.
