    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     My dad and my brother to be home for the holidays. My dad is a boat captain and my brother is a deckhand and they were on the boat for Thanksgiving and they won't be off the boat until December 30. It pisses me off that the company couldn't schedule them in such a way as to get at least one holiday off the boat. Bastards.

    To somehow miraculously get into a grad program that gives me a stipend of $50,000 a year. And doesn't require me to move. And somehow gives me an advance so I can quit my job and finish my thesis next semester. Even though such a thing doesn't exist and I didn't even apply to schools for next year.

    I'd like the job market to open up so DH can get a position with a company that's not run by a family that hints at firing him everytime business is slow and doesn't steal his weekly Christmas withholding, leaving us without half our Christmas budget. That'd be great. Thanks, Santa.
