First Dress Fitting!! (PIP)

I had my first dress fitting with Louise on Sat and like everyone said she is AWESOME! She is super easy to talk to and I in no way felt rushed (like I have when trying the dress on at the place I bought it).

I am having her put cups in the dress so I dont have to worry about a bra. Here is a pic of me with the cups in:

These are actually push up cups which I think I like a bit better than the normal cups.

We tried out bustles and here are the two options we looked at...
Option #1:

Option #2:

I think option two photographs well but it almost seemed too curtain clumpy for me in person. I kinda liked how option one looks like it could just be a part of the dress rather than a bustle. What do you ladies think? 1or 2?

I am also DIY my veil. So far all i have done is dying the tulle - we tea dyed it and I think it turned out really well. Here is a pic with Louise holding the tulle up to get an idea of color:

Here is it draped across the train:

So in total she is going to put cups in, fit it around my bust, fix the sash in the back (my dress was a sample so the sash needs some work), take it in a very little bit at my waist so it doesn't slide around, hem it because it is VERY long, add a bustle, and adjust the crinoline under the dress so it lays better....all of this for $175 plus I am going to pay cash to get the %10 off so it will be even less! Yea! I am getting back together with her in April for my next fitting - cant wait!

You look so happy to be wearing your dress!  Everything looks great.  I also like option one because it accentuates the sash in the back - love that detail!

Awesome!!! I've never seen that type of bustle before (one). So for how unique it is alone, I would go for it! That, and it just looks super with your dress and on you!

You look lovely!  I like option one for the bustle, too.  It's not something I've seen before.

Beautiful! I agree that bustle option 1 is way cool, and that option 2 looks a bit clumpy.

I love that you're DIYing your veil ... I'd be interested in learning what "tea dying" means, too.

Anyways - gorgeous dress! It's gonna look great!

Ditto to all the PP.  I love option 1!  It works so well with the dress and you look super excited to be in your dress again!

Side note on the veil... I think I saw you post that on the DIY board? How did it turn out with the tea dye??

I agree that option 1 is the best, it matches the front of the dress really well and the second option looks a little funny to me since the bunching stops at the sash. I agree that I have never seen that bustle before so it's uniquely beautiful! I love your dress! Makes me what your dress over mine haha! Gorgeous!

I haven't been on here in a while, but I feel compelled to comment on this post. I LOVE the first bustle -- so interesting and unique, and it looks so natural, like the dress was made to look that way! Very pretty dress.
