Hi ladies-

I'm going to ask this on the invite board but thought you all might know just as well if not better.

When should we send our invites out?

The wedding, the cocktail hour and the reception are all in different locations- where should this information be listed? On the invite? On an enclosure card?

You should send them around the 3 month out area.

As far as addressing the invites, I just read this GREAT tip from another board.

Run your envelopes through the printer on a very faint color (gray?) then take a calligraphy pen and trace over the printed names/addresses.

You get the look of beautiful calligraphy without having to free hand or pay someone to do it for you!

Oh! That's a great idea. I usually have my mom do all my caligraphy stuff, she's really good at it, but now that we live in a different state, I might just have to do that!

We are sending ours our at the end of November but our final number is due by March.

I've seen that tip too for addressing the envelopes.

We're sending ours out pretty early -- 5 months out. We're including the main invitation (cermony), a reception card, and RSVP. Any other events will be listed on the schedule on our website.
