• Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand:
Listening to country while driving.
. Fortunately for him it's not the only thing I listen to, but there are 5+ country stations that I get in my car and every time I find a good rock station, it gets shut down. As long as he remembers his mp3 player or is willing to dig around for a CD, it's a non-issue.

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI:
His eyes. Unfortunately he's out of contacts so I don't get to see them that often or that well behind his perpetually dirty glasses!

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help?
He got a couple very general hints but he chose it himself and did very well.
• Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand: I like musicals. While he goes with me, he falls asleep at every single one. We saw As You Like It last week and he fell asleep there. He just doesn't get it. I keep telling him that these are really expensive naps.
Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI:His sense of humor and his eyes. He always makes me laugh and is willing to make an ass out of himself. And he has the prettiest blue eyes.
Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help?He went by himself, but knew what I liked.

Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand: Pre-made meals... like, if you go the store and buy fish that is already encrusted but you have to cook it. I think it makes life easy (especially for clean up!), but he would rather buy the entire fish, filet it himself, etc...

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI: Him in a suit ::swoon::

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help? My grandmother gave me her engagement ring and he just had to get it fixed up. So... I guess that would fall under the category of "help." He's picked out other jewelry for me before, though, and he does pick well.

EDIT: YAY! I'm bronze. Finally.
I see you are gold, Stina!
• Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand: Fruit desserts. He won't eat any fruit pies, strawberry shortcake, fruit cobbler, or jellies.

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI: He has an amazingly flat stomach and chest. Love it. I also (and this is weird, I know) love his tiny wrists with his large hands. I don't know why I find that endearing.

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help? He picked it out himself. The center stone was a family stone from his mother, and the only request I had was that it be white metal, not yellow. The rest, he did himself, and I love it.

• Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand: Johnny Depp! Ever since Depp said something anti-US and moved to France, H has boycotted him.

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI: He can talk to anyone, anywhere. He was even fine at my high school reunion a mere 3 months after we started dating.

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help? He did it completely on his own.
• Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand: Gossip Girl

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI: the way he kind of dances in the kitchen when he waits for the microwave

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help? I went with him one day to show him what I liked (round, white gold), and then he went and chose the actual ring himself. He did a very nice job. :)

Oh geez, Eric and I went to Paper Mill Playhouse last week to see Lost in Yonkers, and he dozed too. He's not a theater person unless it's a huge production, like Les Mis or Miss Saigon. I don't get it; I love theater.

Although the BAM show was cheaper, we're still looking at a $75 nap. He even had a coke with him too.

Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand:
Facebook

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI:
His hazel eyes

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help?
All by himself. We never even went ring shopping together! He just knows me, and picked out something he thought I would love... and I did! I think it made it more special/unique not knowing anything about the ring or proposal.
• Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand: Chick flicks. I know they're crap, but there are several I still find entertaining.

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI: His height. I'm not ridiculously tall (5'8"), but for some reason I've always been super self-conscious about it, so I always had a hang-up about dating guys close to my height. FI's 6'5", and I love it. He also has the best smile.

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help? It's kind of a funny story. We went to Robbins Bros. twice. Both times, I was looking at fancier rings, with engraved bands or side diamonds or whatever. He was really sweating it out, especially on the second trip. I figured he was just worried that I have expensive taste. But then I tried pairing the fancy rings with wedding bands, and decided that a plain e-ring gave us more options.

What I didn't know was that he had already purchased my ring before the second trip (palladium solitaire), and just wanted to see how he did. He was more worried that I wasn't going to like the ring than that I would say no! But he did a good job; I have such tiny hands that the simpler ring looks better on me.

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
• Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand: Crappy reality television programs.

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI: His brain. Obviously I think he's super-hot, but I have a thing for smart guys and he's ridiculously smart. On our first date I found out that he was getting his PhD and I pretty much swooned on the spot. lol

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help? I had shown him rings that I liked, so he knew my style, but the ring he got was different from what I'd shown him - and way better! I love it.

Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand:
Tomatoes and The Soup. How can you not like the Soup?

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI:
His accent.

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help?
He proposed without the ring. We went shopping and chose it together later. He's super paranoid that I won't like anything he chooses. He keeps a list of little things I like (like ice cream flavors) on his phone just because he's so worried.

• FI hates/ I love? Seafood and Olive Garden.
FI Attractive Feature? Physically: He works out and has great muscles Emotionally: He is hilarious and makes me laugh constantly!
Ring? He tried. He picked the style(3 stone) and asked my MOH to get my ring size. I accidentially found out about him looking for a ring so after that he took me with him. We narrowed it down to three rings and he picked my favorite unknowingly. :-)

Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand: Hmm ... I actually have to think about this ... Gravy. On anything. I mean, I don't drown everythng in it, but for cripe's sake the man even eats his mashed potatos dry. That ain't right.

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI: This is gonna sound lame, but I think he looks incredibly sexy when he "concentrates".

Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help? He asked for guidelines back when one of our friends got engaged (And it turned out she hated the ring) ... but I didn't know when he went for it. Not that I wasn't "ready", but pretty much until the words "marry me" came out of his mouth, I thought the proposal was at least a year away at the time. Which, he did good, my ring was perfect for me.

• Something you like that your DH/FI can't stand:
Watching the food network all day long

Something that is super attractive about your DH/FI:
His behind.. and his brain.
Did he pick out your ring himself or did he get help?

He picked out my e-ring all alone, and did wonderfully! He even got a really good deal. I expect him to pick out my wedding ring as well. He is much better at that sort of stuff than I am.
