grey/wine/light pink?

i'm thinking i might do grey (think satin - so a shiny dark grey!) dresses, with wine colored shoes on my bridesmaids, and the groomsmen could have all black tuxes with grey vests and wine colored ties.

question - what kind of jewelry would you put on the bridesmaids?

    Are you buying them specific jewelry to wear? Why not just let them choose their own

    If you want your girls to look the same, then go with your gut for the jewelry.  There is really no right or wrong because this is your wedding.  You decide what looks good or not.  For example, my girls chose their own dresses (in the same charcoal gray color) and are picking their own jewelry, shoes, and hairstyle and that's awesome to me.  I love for each person to have her own identity...but if that thought makes you barf, then pick something you LOVE for all of them, and don't look back.  It's your wedding.

    I don't know what your style is but I am thinking antique silver will look great with the grey and your flowers will probably have plenty of pop for color. Just a thought.

    I had a friend who was a bridesmaid recently in another wedding, and she had a heck of a time finding shoes in a wine color.  Take a look around before you make your maids buy shoes in a hard to find color.

    well you can dye shoes any color you want!  so i don't think it would be too much of a problem.

    thanks for all the feedback though.

    i really like pearls and before i really considered this color i was set on picking out pearl jewelry for the girls, but i'm not sure how it would look to have ivory pearls with a grey dress.

    would grey pearls or wine colored pearls look okay?
