LOTS and LOTS of homework!!! ewww... I have 2 research papers, a case study and a team project to work on this weekend. Thankfully only the team project is due this weekend, but apparently I got paired up with two people that don't know how to write clear and concisely... I had to re-write the whole paper!

Also, e-pics on Saturday night, and I might make some candy for FI for V-day, I got this cute mold from a website that makes the candy look like little gems and then you flavor them wtih cinnamon or some other flavor.  Then i saw on Martha Stewart that you take tissue paper and cut it out into shapes - in this case red and pink hearts and then you put them between layers of wax paper and iron them to seal them in and then you have V-day themed wax paper for treats. If I had more time and the special little loaf pans i'd make mini banana bread loaves and wrap them up in that (which is what the picture showed).

My fiance has a surprise for me tomorrow to celebrate Valentine's Day. I'm pretty sure I know what it is, because he works near the Fisher Theater and was asking for a while if I wanted to see "The Wizard of Oz". Think we are going to the matinee, he told me to be ready by noon and to dress as though we were going out to dinner.

I'll also be watching the Olympic opening ceremonies tonight, and whatever Olympic events I want to see this weekend. I'm SO glad the Olympics are in North America, so I can see this stuff in real time vs replay.

Everyone, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to you and yours. Kiss

    Saturday: Dress shopping
Sunday: Making a nice dinner at home and going to see "Valentine's Day"
    Monday: meeting with a florist

We are heading to Columbus tonight and spending the weekend at a indoor water park resort until Monday.  I am so excited for the little get away!

Sue - I have to know, what is the area around the Fisher Theatre really like??  We've gone to see a few shows up there and it just seems like a sketchy area and I never feel comfortable.  I hate going to that one, because there's no restaurants right near it to go eat at, at least that we see.  Although, I did want to go to the Wizard of Oz show.  Enjoy!

Today- suffer through work and then cake tasting at Lisa's Confection Connection in Clarkston. I'm hoping that the delivery fee will be minimal since it's the same city as our reception- and of course that the cake is delicious! lol

Tomorrow- Watch FI paint the kitchen, probably do some cleaning, and then checking out Shutterbooth in the afternoon.

Sunday- Who knows! Sky is the limit. I'm thinking we might go out to dinner, but not sure yet.

Today: Work and then getting together with some bridesmaids. Might go to a party later on with FI and another bridesmaid.

Tomorrow: Homework and my folks are coming up to visit us (in reality to visit our kitten again) and take us to dinner somewhere in town.

Sunday: Homework again and we actually have V-day plans. Dinner out at 6 and FI claims he has a present for me. I don't know what's gotten into him.

Kelly, because my fiance works near the Fisher, he knows where to go. I've been to shows at Masonic Temple and the Fox Theater, but never the Fisher, so I don't know what to tell you. I've gone to meet him in his designated parking lot to go to Tiger games on Friday nights, and it seems fine to me. But you are probably right, there don't seem to be a lot of restaurants in the area.

You gals are all so AMBITIOUS! Seriously, it sounds like half of you are in school AND planning weddings. It's amazing how focused you are! Good for you!
