Hello! Wanted to get some opinions on this; we just realized the date we wanted to have our wedding on won't work because it is the day before easter. So we were thinking of pushing our wedding to a week earlier; but then we would have to wait a week before going on our honemoon (i'm in nursing school). We would save a lot of money getting married in march, and maybe be able to afford a nice venue, but i'm not sure how i feel about waiting a week before going on our honeymoon.
Any thoughts?

It's no problem at all to wait for your honeymoon!
If we had the money, we'd leave for our honeymoon about a week after the wedding. We wanted the time to go home and decompress a little from the wedding, pack our things, etc.
That being said, we don't have the money, so we won't be going on our honeymoon for at least 3-6 months after our wedding, and I'm just fine with that. We're still planning to take a few days off of work post wedding and have a stay-cation. Relax in our apartment and buy a few livingsocial.com deals in our city for dinner, massages, etc. The point of a honeymoon isn't about traveling immediately after your wedding, its about spending time with each other, no matter when and where it happens.

Love this!
Were waiting a while after our wedding too. FI is starting school and won't be on break right away. Plus my work schedule won't work leaving right away.
We are getting married on Memorial Day weekend and honeymoon-ing in early September. That's just what worked out with the schedules for our families and what we wanted to do for the honeymoon.
But most importantly, we will spend that week with family and relatives that have travelled from overseas for the wedding.
FI and I also live overseas, and don't see our famiies very often, so coming home for the wedding is very special, and we want to make the most of it!
