March 2012 Weddings

For those of you who wax?

Does anyone wax their  arms?  I am really considering doing this for the wedding.  I have dark hair so the hair on my arms is dark and noticable.  My dress is sleeveless so I want to look my best and of course look good in photos.  So should I go ahead and do this?  I know to do it a day or two before the wedding to reduce the risk of redness? but would it be worth it?

[QUOTE]I used to wax my arms all the time but it got to be too expensive so I started using nair on my arms. I know how you feel the hair on my arms are really dark and I hate the way it looks.Try waxing your arms like a month and a half before the wedding to see how you react to it and if you don't have any bad reactions then wax again a day or two before the wedding depending on how long it takes any redness to go away.

I actually do all my waxing myself.  I swear by the sally hanson prewaxed strips.  I am the official eyebrow waxer to my mom and a few friends lol.  It saves a ton of money.  I've used other brands but like these the best.
  • Fortunately I have blond hair so this hasn't been an issue for me... but I do have small red bumps on the back of my arms that I wish I knew how to get rid of before the wedding!! Anyone know???
