Which David's Bridal?

My MOH is getting married in July and I'm a BM in her wedding. We're all going shopping for dress next month and she wants to head to DB.

Isn't one better than the others? We're going on a Sunday afternoon if that helps.

I checked both lists but couldn't find anything. The search function was also being notoriously awful.

Thanks!

I have heard that Ross Park is awesome, but have never been there. I got my dress at the one in Monroeville, and I had a great experience! My consultant was very helpful and the manager came over and was also very nice and accommodating. We also got our bridesmaids' dresses at the Monroeville one for my friend's wedding this past July and again, I was pleased. I'm sure they are all pretty similar.

I got my dress at the David's in Monroeville. One of my BMs used to work there so she made sure I got an apt with the best consultant there (Elayne). I went on a Friday morning at 11am - I was the first apt of the day. I had a great experience. The consultant was very helpful, as was the manager of the store, who came over a few times to check in on us.

The one in Monroeville is on William Penn - its in the same shopping center as Bed Bath and Beyond.

We got our BM dresses for my FSILs wedding at DB in Robinson and they were very nice and helpful! I also went there with my cousins to look at FG and JrBM dresses and, again, they were very great and helpful!

I looked at dresses at DB in Robinson and they were very easy to work with.  My cousin bought her gown there and had a good experience.  HTH!

I tried on dresses at the McKnight location, and I wasn't incredibly impressed but it wasn't a bad experience either.  My consultant was new so I think that probably had something to do with it.  However, I didn't end up buying anything so it was only like a 1.5 hour experience.

Elayne was my consultant as well- I highly recommend her. She definitely made my experience a fun one. Not only did she help with dresses, but actually asked about my FI, how we got engaged, etc. She's very personable.

Ditto the good experience at Robinson.  Julie was my consultant but my FMIL had a different one and she was great, too.  WISHING so badly that we'd gotten the BM dresses there...

I went to both Monroeville and Ross Park. Elayne helped my in Monroeville. She left me to put the dresses on myself, which was weird, but I didn't mind. I did have some problems in Monroeville, minor but annoying problems. Justin helped me in Ross Park. He made everything fun. Very attentive but a little opinionated, which I needed. He understood that I wanted something simple that I could add on to and pulled the perfect dress, which I bought that day. He also helped my mom pick her dress, which is like making magic with the way she is. She also bought that day. I went to them both becasue one had the size in a dress that the other didn't have in stock.

I'm sure you will be happy with which ever one you pick.

I also went to Monroeville, and the staff is very nice. However, I would not  recommend going on a Saturday. They are always stuffed to the brim with appointments, and there's a reallllly high chance that more than one bride will be assigned to a consultant. Also, because they'll have appointments booked end to end, you won't get any wiggle room for your appointment length. They'll boot you out when your time is done. Definitely try to go during the week! You won't feel rushed, and therefore you won't be nearly as stressed out.

Elayne was my consultant too, and she did a great job! I went on a Wednesday evening, and there was only 1 other bride in there, so I had plenty of time and attention. I agree with the going on a weekday thing. Good luck!
