Day of Coordinator?

Sorry to ask such an awkward question, but I'm wondering how much you are paying for a day of coordinator. I would love to hire one to set up my reception hall, but we're on a really limited budget. I guess I just want to know if it's a possibility. Thanks :-)

    We paid $450 for ours, but she did a lot more than just set up the reception hall.  That was the big thing we wanted one for obviously, but there were a lot of other services included in the package that just made life so much easier for us and our families.  I was a lot less stressed out knowing I had paid a couple hundred bucks to someone whose only job it was to look after my wedding.  We were on a pretty tight budget too but it was (IMO) a really worthwhile expense.

    I'm paying 450 for mine.  Like DiLynn said, she will be doing more than setting up.  She creates a timeline, contacts all of the vendors to make sure everyone is on the same page, she attends the rehearsal, etc.  If you need someone to ONLY set up the reception, maybe you can pay a friend to do it?

    Ours, Jennifer from Jennifer Lynn Events is $500 and that includes the rehersal and day of coverage. We also have unlimited email/phone correspondence and meetings before hand. She is amazing!

    Usually it depends on how many guests.  We are looking at 160 to 175 guests, so estoccasions charged us $700.
