Cutest Groom question

So my lovely Groom to be last night saw me flipping through pintrest wedding stuff on my phone last night & asked me a question. He says "will I be allowed to talk to you" LOL I said I was pretty sure it was required. He said "no when you first come in & your Dad gives you to me, can I say anything to you or am I supposed to just be quite" I told him I honestly wasn't really sure, but I thought he'd be able to sneak in a whisper. So my question... is there a quick whisper something slot or do they just get right into it once we're given away? I honestly can't remember now.

I think its up to you and your officiant. We're being married by a friend, so I'm sure he won't care. But I don't know about other officiants.

I think that if he wants to say something to you, it should be fine. I am sure that my FI is going to say something to me.

It depends on your offiiciant, but if you do this, I'd have the processional music playing just a few seconds longer so that there's something going on besides whispering.

At my sister's wedding, my BIL whispered, "I think I might puke, I hope it's not on you!" No one heard it because of the music. I think it's pretty easy to get away with.
