    Sunset cove for italian food.

Striped bass for seafood and a bar atmosphere.

    Have fun!

The next town over from Tarrytown is Irvington and they have a FABULOUS restaurant called Buon Gusto. I live in Tarrytown and go there very often...food is fantastic and very inexpensive and the best part is you can bring your own alcohol...wine, beer, liquor...it's great! Here is the NY Times write up http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/10/nyregion/10dinewe.html?_r=1

    The info is:

    50 South Buckhout Street

    Irvington

    (914) 478-0611

    I HIGHLY recommend!

Oh..and there is a nice wine/martini bar called Brut on 9...nice atmosphere..great drinks. If you want something a little more "irish bar" there is a place called JP Doyle's on Beekman Ave.

head to white plains. it's about 15 minutes away and you'll find everything you're looking for there.

There are two in dobbs ferry that are great....Sam's and my fave: THe Cookery.
Also, PP said Sunset Cove but that is mostly seafood so make sure you have a seafood loving crowd.  Also, check out A'Mangiare in Elmsford.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

We ended up at Buon Gusto and had an INCREDIBLE time.  Loved the fact that you can bring your own and there's no corking fee.  Dinner was SOOOO cheap and yet sooo good.
