Officially under 100 days!

As of today, there are 99 days until my June 22 wedding!  It has been going by so fast.  We got some big checks done the past few weeks.  We got our flights and hotel figured out.  I can't wait to spend an entire week in Vegas!  Our guests have been booking their trips, too!  Everyone is so excited.  We got our wedding bands about 2 weeks ago.  I had my 2nd dress fitting last night, and it looks fantastic!  I was lucky that my dress didn't require that much in alterations.  I booked Harmony today for hair and makeup for me and my 2 bridesmaids.  Now it's time to focus on some small details.  It is going to be here so soon!

    yay how exciting!!! your exactly one week after me and you have more accomplished then me good job!! but my dress doesnt need much alterations either cus its corset =)  ...funny thing this date was our first choice for our wedding but its also EDC wknd so i know my guests would of went crazy-lol. where did you find ur bridesmaids dresses if you dont mind me asking we are going to look this wknd

    EDC had not been scheduled when we picked our date.  I REALLY wish it wasn't the same weekend, but it is what it is at this point.  Hotels are more expensive, but guests are still booking and ready for the fun.  Bridesmaids dresses is actually the area I have not accomplished yet.  I am way behind on that.  I only have 2.  It's just hard to find a time to get all of us together to go shopping.  We are hoping to look at places like Macy's, White House Black Market, etc.  They are wearing black dresses, so I am hoping we can find something they both like.  I am skeptical!

    Regarding EDC, don't worry about it.  I was there for EDC last year and it did not really cause us an issue.  EDC attracts mostly college-age kids, and mostly college-going kids, i.e. no money, so they tend to fill up the cheaper hotels towards the speedway with four or more to a room, so mostly Fremont area, etc. and the only real issues are probably noise in the cheaper hotels.

    We were at Golden Nugget that trip and most of the hotels downtown ended up selling out in the two weeks leading up to it, the hotels on the strip didn't seem to have anything unusual going on as we went up there for dinner both nights.  In the Rush Tower we didn't hear anything but I heard some complaints from the old towers. 

    Cabs were harder to find for sure downtown and strip for Friday and Saturday, but if your'e on the strip and close to what you want, that's not going to be an issue.  Especially since most people going to EDC either went in the afternoon until 4am or didn't leave for EDC until 10pm or later to stay until sunrise.

    We have been using smartevegas.com and lasvegasadvisor.com.  Both have a lot of the same promo codes, but it's worth looking at both. 

    VG - I heard the same thing about it being harder to find a cab.  Most people are staying on the Strip, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
