I flame the pagan/sunrise ceremony/Scottish people are really Norwegian chick. (Can't remember her SN). Crackafuckingbook dear. Most anthropologists believe the Scots are Iberian in origin, Iberia being and early name for the area we now call Portugal. They slowly made their way north and to the British Isles in the Mesolithic era (hunter-gatherer). Sure, Irish and Scandinavian peoples and those from the rest of Europe all invaded Scotland at times, but I have never read anywhere that the origins of Scottish reliigious beliefs came from the Norse.

You have to be pretty interested in it. My other career choice was anthropologist focusing on the British Isles so I read a lot about the origins of the peoples there.

Of course there is no 100% definitive answer that everyone agrees on but there is also a ton of new agey bullshit out there and it hits a nerve when people recite it as "fact".

Oh, and Liza, I would be pretty pissed too if someone selfishly took an entire bottle of wine at an art show, whether they bought a piece or not. Do you have any idea how expensive it is to put on a reception for a show? It'd be one thing if the show was over and the wine was leftover or something but otherwise it's just rude and immature.
