Wine glass tags?

I need some advice on whether or not to use wine glass tags (http://www.iwawine.com/stemware-tags-50.html) at my reception. I would attempt to make them with nice paper possibly with a coordinating print/color. My wedding is a rustic theme in a barn and preppy casual. The reason I would consider doing this is because we are serving wine, beer and a signature drink and price is based on consumption. Since I have been guilty of setting down a drink amongst several glasses getting confused on who's is who's abandoning the drink and heading to the bar for a new one my hope is this would keep the bar tab down.... I would have the tables set with the tags in place and the bar glasses setup as well. Maybe if I used a few prints/colors guest would not need to write their names, just remember the print/color?
Please help me figure this out.........

Re: Wine glass tags?

We are going to use them because we are renting glasses (for bubbly and wine, water, and the beer served in clear biodegradable cups, no liquor drinks) and don't see a need to rent 5+ glasses per person;even w/a reusable glass it's not very green to use umpteen glasses. There will be a sign at the bar and by the tags asking people to be green and reuse their glass. If someone minds having different wines in the same glass,or loses track of their glass, they can use a beer cup or their bubbly glass. It's a party not a serious wine event.  We plan to make the tags oursleves out of card stock in wedding colors, placed in a basket etc. w/colorful pens for people to decorate or write their name or whatever they want. This is a tent reception, with a fun outdoor vibe.
