Wedge flip flops?

I'm shopping for wedge flip flops to wear when my feet start to hurt during the reception. Does anyone have any ideas of where to look?

side note: My wedding dress is very flowy (a light gossamer chiffon skirt) and so I'm trying to stay away from anything too chunky.

Just because you saw it on Four Weddings, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
  • Im having the same problem! I want to get all my BMs a wedge flip flop for the reception but I want it in Coral and I cannot find anything!!!

I plan on getting myself a white pair, Im not sure how flip floppy you want them but Old Navy has them in the basic colors and they are not to expensive.
I've loved you since I was 8 years old...

I had an issue with finding a pair that were tall enough so that my dress didn't drag on the floor when I changed out of my nice heels.  I ended up buying a pair from Victoria Secret.  They were super comfortable and I was so happy I got them.

As far as worrying about clunkiness, I really wouldn't be too concerned because, trust me when I say that people will not notice your feet and 95% of the time your dress will cover your shoes.

That's what i'm kind of thinking too, except my dress has a slit up my left leg so my shoes will show at times (it's a hidden slit but when I dance and sit, my leg will show).  I know it's not a huge deal and people won't notice, but I will, hehe. I don't want to settle just yet in case there is something awesome out there!
  • Endless.com has a TON of shoes.  Also, more sandals will be coming out over the next couple of months so if you don't find it and can wait, you might have better luck as you get closer to summer.

Will they really ever wear a coral flip flop again?  I actually had a friend buy me flip flops she wanted me to wear for the ceremony.  I hated them.  I changed in to heels to dance.

  • I went to www.bridalshoes.com and click the Wedding Flip Flops link.  Mine just came the other day. Now is the time to order, too, because they still have the common sizes. Last year, I waited too long to look and they were sold out of my size.  Hope you find what ya need! : )

OMG, these are perfect! I've been looking for 2-3" wedges that don't look too casual for months now. I just ordered them in pink. I'm changing into a shorter dress at the end of the night and wanted wedges that still looked cute. Thanks!
  • No problem! I loved them too!!! I am so excited for when I get to change into them... I loved the pink too and was toying with exchanging mine for the pink ones... but for now I am keeping the ivory...
