I personally prefer the more nontraditional cake to the more traditional one. I like the different heights on the first cake and find the design very interesting.

I like the different heights of the layers in the first cake, but I don't like the way it's decorated. I prefer the more traditional decoration of the second cake.

The first will cost you way more money than the second. That is handpainter and equals big bucks to have it look right.

The first cake is definitely cool. and I'd actually say it's pretty elegant, but it does have that whimsical flair to it. I'm not against the second one either. I love a good traditional cake, although this one for some reason just seems kinda blah. I think I'd go with the first, if cost isn't a big factor.

I like the second but am totally traditional and had a white wedding cake with ivory flowers. So that's just my taste. The first one is cool though.

I'm not crazy about either. I like the non-traditional ones, but the first one was decorated a little too crazy for me. I would suggest something in the middle of the 2.

#1 FTW! The design and hand painting are fantastic, and I hate traditional cakes. #2 looks really stuffy and staid. #3 is pretty cool, with the tiers angled, but the actual decoration is kind of blah, too dependent on the flowers. I'm also getting square tiers on my cake.
