wedding ceremony sand??

Where did you purchase it for a decent price??  Also, did you use 2 colors, one for each you and FI?  We are thinking of having our mom's pour a "foundation" color on the bottom right before start of ceremony.  It will represent our families uniting and also a foundation of love and a spiritual connection.  Then FI and I will ((I think)) each have our own color we will pour during the sand ceremony.

IKEA has cheap sand, and I'm sure the craft stores carry it too.

I was at Micheal's tonight.  They had a cute set there.  Not sure on the price, but they always have 25% off coupons.

I got mine at Moon Glow Candles website.  I know quite a few past knotties also got their sand there.  The colors I got were very true to the pictures on the site and you can order just samples of them for cheap to truly see the color.
They have a TON of selection and I thought I got great product from them.

Micheals has bags of sand without the kit. It's in the with flower stuff with vases and sea glass rocks and everything. The price is very decent as well, and even better if you have a coupon!

Yea i bought the bags of sand from Michaels that the PP described. I got a deep purple and more of a sage green that was pretty close to the colors I was looking for. The online stores have more colors to choose from but were way more expensive so I just went with what Michaels had.

Take a look in my bio under "it's all in the details."  I have our containers with 1 cup in each....might help you visualize if you need more than this or not!  Hope that helps!
