Good morning everyone!!! I'm ALIVE! lol I feel soooo much better today. I left work at 11:30 had to go to the store and stock up on OJ. I got in bed by 1 and slept until 8. DH made me get out of bed for a little bit and then I went back to sleep at 10. I couldn't really fall asleep until 1. I should've just stayed asleep the entire time. I'm a little sleepy right now but I think it might be the meds and not the fact that I got up at 6:30.

I'm really happy I'm feeling better because tomorrow's my birthday!!! And who wants to be sick on their birthday?? I have a lot to do after work today since yesterday was shot. I gotta get the house ready for the party. I can't wait. :)

    Good morning.  I am very sleepy today.  I was inspired by all the yummy pics this week, and made cookies last night.

    Just regular chocolate chip.  I was too lazy to make sugar cookies... maybe this weekend I'll do that.

    HI! I am ok. I need to go to my dads work to buy tires, they are on sale buy 3 get 1 free.  And I get his discount. I really don't feel like going to shop for that though, that is not fun.

    Oh and today is double digits. OMG.

    TGIF too! I am so happy it is Friday!

    good morning everyone!

    i hope everyone's commute wasnt too bad yesterday.  a dusting a snow and everyone freaks out.  im glad my commute is 1.7 miles :)

    i hope all you sickies get better. 

    this weekend i am wrapping gifts and baking cookies (choc chip, oatmeal raisin, and those cookies with the jam in the middle)  2 paula dean recipes so you know what that means... LOTS of butter!

    Morning!

    I have a packed weekend coming up.  I have so much cleaning and wrapping to do, I don't even know where to start.  And we still have to buy FFIL's present, and we're celebrating with him on Sunday.

    Good Morning everyone!

    The GTG was a lot of fun and everyone made yummy cookies!

    I'm so ready for this weekend. We have the women (parents and grandparents) brunch that DH and I take them to on Sunday, and Sat. night my mom is coming over for a cookie bake marathon that goes from Sat-Sunday, I'm really excited. No plans tonight thank goodness so DH and I can rest.

    I bought DH the XBox last night, along with two games :-). I'm debating getting a second controller, but he really only needs one so I guess I'm good. And with that purchase, my Christmas shopping is DONE. A few more stocking stuffers for DH and I have nothing left to buy, it excites me greatly!

    After sliding twice less than a mile from work, I was scared.  My car isn't heavy enough for driving in snow.  Once I got on 76, it was much clearer, but packed with cars and I moved at 0-15mph for most of the ride home.  But I got there in one piece which is all I can ask for I guess.

    I am out of here at noon today so I am pretty jazzed about that... Also, I am wearing my new boots today (DH called them my "sh!t kickers" this morning. Loved it!)

    The GTG was a lot of fun. So nice meeting you ladies (and your hubs)!

    MH - Yay for the jewels! I actually double-checked the tracking this AM and it said DELIVERED! Finally!

    BP- if you want to get a second controller for cheap just go to game stop and get a used one.  thats what FI told me to do for him last year.  has he used the second controller? no.  but at least i didnt spend all that money on it. 

    MH- my previous car was super light.  i used to get 2, 40lb bags of sand from home depot and put them in the trunk and it helped tremendously.

    I think BP's hubbie is a secret professional bowler ;)

    So glad it's friday and our holiday party is this afternoon so hopefully it will be an  easy day.

    BP - Get some batteries for H's stocking.  I believe the controllers take 2 AA batteries each.  They die relatively quickly IMO, so it helps to have backups.

    We buy batteries in bulk at BJ's so we have a TON, but I'll wrap some and put them in there anyway, because it's a really good idea! TY!!

    Morning all! Happy Friday! I have a full day of work today and tons of stuff to do. So jealous of all those who are getting out early.

    I have a few more things to pick up for Christmas and all of my presents to wrap this weekend. I'm excited to be done! Engagement session is on Saturday and it's going to be a high of 38. Oh geez. FI and I are going to be super bundled for our pics haha. I hope they turn out good!

    Morning all! I'm so glad it's Friday. Last night my drive was atrocious, and thanks to an accident on the Vine Street Expressway that backed 76 up, it took me two hours to get here this morning. Boo. I hate the car!

    I live in Plymouth Meeting.  I have a coworker who lives around Collegeville somewhere.  It took me 1.5 hour to get home last night creeping along 76, but being patient.  He took some back way, and it took him 3 hours.  Now he's complaining about it.  Who the F told you to take local roads when its snowing jack@ss?!?!?  I hate stupid people.

    Morning!

    It took me 1 hr and 45 minute to get home last night.  Once I got out of North Philly it was okay, but getting from my office to the point where it was clear too a looooong time.  It was slipping around too.

    Had a fun time at the GTG last night. Great to meet some of you ladies and your men!  :-)

    Morning!!  Took me almost an hour to get home from work last night... should only take 20 minutes.  I still haven't moved that furniture out of the guest bedroom though... I'm such a slacker.

    On the way home from work, I was talking about the bowling last night and he goes "You didn't tell me it was bowling... I would have gone..."  NOW he tells me. I was really surprised!  Normally he's a big curmudgeon about meeting new people.

    Update on the windows...still windowless at the office.  There's SOMETHING in there, but it isn't a whole window and they still have the plastic up.  When the snow started, they just left.  So hopefully that will get finished today. I'm really looking forward to hearing power tools all day long again.
