BM dress advice

This is my first topic post on this board, but after lurking a bit I figured this was the right set of people to ask.

Anywho, I went BM dress shopping yesterday (I only have two) and we tried on some beautiful dresses by Jim Hjelm,Alvina Valenta etc.I told the girls they could wear whatever dress they like as long as they are the same color and material.

So the girls picked out a few and both had different favorites in different materials and so on,There however was one  dress that both liked and said would be fine with. They are both calling me tomarrow to discuss the final decision.Should I just have them decide on the dress they both liked and call it a day.Or should we banter about all the dresses and just try to figure it out.(I'm just worried I lose control over the situation this way a little bit,and it seems like the decision gets much harder).

I love my girls and don't want to offend them.Is it bad of me to say well this is the happy medium let's do it or not? Any advice is appreciated.Thanks.

if they can agree on the same dress, take the path of least resistance and go with it. This isn't about controlling the situation/your friends. Make sure they are comfortable and go with the flow.

Do you like the dress they both liked?  If so, then you need to just put your foot down and say since you both like this dress, we'll get this one.

I would dicate the color and fabric and have them choose a style from there unless they can all agree on one.

It's actually the dress I like the best for the wedding itsel.I also think it's very flattering on both girls. This is the dress below. It would be different colors, but that's it and I have already told the girls if they want to add accessories wether it be a jacket, necklace or whatever.

Sounds to me like there isn't really an issue here. Your problem solved itself.

If it's your favorite of the dresses, and they both like the dress, then I don't really think that there's any reason to stress over it.

As a side note, please don't worry too much about staying in control of everything. You'll very possibly drive yourself crazy if you worry too much about making all the decisions yourself. If there's decisions like this one that can easily solve themselves, or things you can delegate, it may save you some stress. Try to enjoy it all!
