Can you imagine the level of awesome that EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS could bring to an abortionplex? I bet if I went there, Obamayan himself would be coathangerin' my cooch.

Only if he weren't too busy firing all the nukes that day.
Life must have been so much easier for stupid people before facebook. Back then they just said stupid stuff and no one on the internet remembered it forever and ever.
I JUST got to that one right as I switched back and read your reply. I'm dying over here. It's not good to make me laugh, my chest is about to assplode.
I've said that 3 times today. Apparently today is my day to deal with stupid people.
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
I have a friend on FB that does this kind of crap ALL. THE. TIME. I always comment on his articles and updates that he needs to check his facts. Stupid people...
Re: the abortionplex. Did anyone see Real Time with Bill Maher a few weeks ago when he said that apparently the average citizen thinks we spend like 5% of our budget on the arts (thing like the National Endowment for the Arts, the Smithsonian, etc)? He's like, "No, we do not spend 800 BILLION dollars a year on ballet. The budget is something like .000001% of the entire federal budget. But if that's what conservatives believe, sure. We should play along! Tell them yes, we will totally defund the arts if you leave Planned Parenthood funding alone and continue to fully fund Medicare. *wink*"

Study: All American Problems Could Be Solved By Just Stopping And Thinking For Two Seconds
May 27, 2011 | ISSUE 47•21
CHAPEL HILL, NC—A study published Thursday by psychologists at the University of North Carolina concluded that all American problems—from stuck jacket zippers to the national debt—could be solved if citizens just stopped, took a deep breath, and thought for two seconds before they acted. "We found that in 93 percent of cases, a positive outcome could have been achieved if Americans simply splashed a little water on their faces prior to dealing with an unfair boss, being out of clean spoons, signing on to direct a second Wall Street film, or answering a call from a parent," Janet Mallory, the study's lead author, told reporters. "Our data indicate that when U.S. citizens don't take a second to compose themselves, they typically charge in like maniacs and hurt either themselves or several million Iraqi civilians." Mallory said a good rule of thumb for Americans is to think of a plan, stop, and then do the complete opposite.
To be fair, I had never heard of the onion until a few months ago, when I saw an article linked on someone's FB and thought "WTF that can't be true." Then I learned. For the life of me though I can't remember what the article was.

Honestly, I wish I thought this stuff was funny but it just makes me sad. I deal all day with people who I swear... have the IQ of a cucumber. I'm scared for the world.
The Onion: proudly saving the world from moronitis one day at a time. I've had friends believe Onion FB posts of mine, and I'm never sure whether to laugh or feel sorry for them.
"He who laughs at himself never runs out of things to laugh at."
The stupidity of these people makes me worry about the future of our country. On another note, as a Kansan, I would like to point out that Topeka and Kansas for that matter are NOT part of the bible belt. The bible belt is the South, not the Midwest.
