[QUOTE]One of my co-workers openly called everyones attention to inform us that her gynecology appointment had gone great and she no longer had a yeast infection... Seriously, why would you say that??!!

    1) I would never want to know about ANYONES yeast infection!!
    2) I would never want people to know if I had a yeast infection, whether it was gone or not. Thats messed up.
  • I have idiots who not only sit within 10 feet of each other and call on their speakerphones they also listen to their voicemails at top volume on speakerphone.  I have made each of them sit at my desk and listen to how loud they are.  It stops for a day (maybe) and then picks right back up.  Makes me crazy.

  • Unfortunately I overhear crazy stuff all the time because I am in the psych field. It is kinda the norm for me. The most recent was probably about one of the kids (16 y/o) male who was having a psychotic episode was running through the hallway in his underwear trying to assault everyone he encountered.

  • I'm a nurse so I hear a lot of messed up things from patients/family members. I recently heard that a parent of infant twin patients say that she had no clue how to get on birth control. Probably true since she had three kids under 9 months when the twins were born.
  • I work at a hospital, I heard a CNA say to a patient she was helping to the bathroom "It's five in the morning, if I were home my panties would be around my ankles too."

  • I work in a bakery with an open kitchen (the customers can see in) and one day me and another baker I guess got to carried away talking and the cashier freaked on us saying we talk to much and we need to cut the chit chat unless its work related because the customers can hear us (she has no say or control in the kitchen but likes to think she does, and we keep all chit chat pg because of that fact) . Later that day I was walking by the bakery and I could hear her from the sidewalk talking with another cashier laughing and cussing away.

  • Ohhhh the stories I could tell. I think one of the funnier things that happened at my old job was the time a "superviser" (and I use that term verrry loosely) was trying to impose all these new policies and it got me to thinking, since my co-workers and I are all contracters, we might get turned into employees with the next audit/if the IRS found out. So I went online and printed out the right-to-control test and sure enough I had some reason for concern. I gave it to a receptionist (a "mutual" friend between the superviser and myself) since I thought it might be received better from her. Welp, superviser thought I was suing her. Although can you really blame that on her since she has only been in the country for years and has never taken a business or business law class? Oh wait, I guess you can. :3
