Today is our 1st wedding anniversary. I can't believe that it has been a year already. Time has just flown by.
We did not save our top layer of cake for today, but we did a wish box. We asked our guests to write their wish for us (Bible verse, personal sentiment, etc.) so that we could save them for our anniversary. We just opened them and it was so much fun to read what people had said. I highly recommend this (even if you are planning on saving cake - it is something else to look forward to). We bought cards at Michael's that are about 2 " x 2" and they come with envelopes. They often have them in the dollar section (ours were on clearance so they were 50 cents for 8).
