  I'm confused.  Are you having fortune cookies in your candy bar?  They aren't candy or even very much like a cookie.

  I've apparently missed the fact that this is a current trend.  I've honestly never heard of including fortune cookies and find it odd.  Maybe I'm missing something.

  I kinda agree with Stage on this one.

  
  

  However, I really like the first quote.  If you do that, can you put one at each person's plate similar to a favor.  Then people might not be expecting a random fortune, and could still enjoy the candy buffett.

  I don't think the cookies HAVE to have a "real fortune" inside. I think the first quote is really cute. I agree with jmp, it might be nice to place a cookie at each place, but a bowl of them at the candy buffet is fine too.

  Guys, this is sort of like that whole "programs are a waste of money and you're stupid for having them!!!" thing.  Who CARES what she puts on her candy buffet?  If she wants to spend the money for personalized cutesy fortunes and puts them on her candy buffet, so what?  Would you SERIOUSLY go to a wedding with fortune cookies on the candy buffet and say "Those a-holes think fortune cookies are CANDY?!  RUDE!!!"?

  But seriously, I like the idea of having them at the place settings.  Although I think it's perfectly fine to put them in the candy bar.  You'll definitely want some variety in the sayings because guests will likely share them with each other.

  I like the first one.  Also, fortune cookies are my favorite dessert, so I love the idea of including them.

  I agree with Andrea. I think it would be nice to have several different sayings since guests are going to end up comparing fortunes.

  Being honest I never knew these cookies exisited until I got an Eversave about them! After reading all your posts and ideas, i am so excited to actuall order them!!!
  
  We can put writing on both sides of the "fortune" so i was thinking about all the backs will say:
  Bride and Groom
  September 22, 2012
  
  and then the "fortune" on the other side.
  
  
  Also, we will have plenty( at least 2 per invited guest) so if some people take a couple more it will be ok!!
  
  
  i hadn't even thought of putting one at each place setting....we may just do that!!!
  
  Ok now that you've inspired me to do a few differnt "fortunes" i need ideas.

  ok so we can get them packaged in regular clear wrap or the normal traditional wrapper that has the chinese writing on them, which wrapper would look better?
