SHOES!! I GET TO BUY SHOES.... now which ones do I get?!

I LOVE shoes... you would think since I shop for a living I would find shoes easily... but I am having trouble with this one for whatever reason... I live in a new city with no ladies close so I'm posting on here for help...

Theme: Art deco with Art Nouveau elements... (not to be confused with 1920s flapper) think glamour hollywood Katherine Hepburn , Jean Harlow, Greta Garbo!

Dress: Matthew Christopher Lalique

Colors: Navys, Greens, Light grey and copper

Venue: Outdoors

With that said I really would love to find something that has  a wedge but doesn't clash with the dress. Also they need to be high... I'm short and my fiancee is over 6 ft. I don't want to be straining to kiss him the whole day and tilting my head too far back.. koz lets face it my hair is going to be all done up and I don't want to mess it up ;)

The only ones that sort of work but I'm afraid I might sink in the grass are these ...well and of course they are Gucci... and expensive...and I really didn't want navy. I wanted bright green, light grey, or copper, or off white.  His favorite color is navy, mine is green. So with all of that said... any suggestions?  Thanks!!!

  • Thank you!!! I was wondering about those but didn't know anyone who's tried them! One question tho, do you think it would damage the velvet?

Thanks again! Love the snowball fight photos!! ;)

  • Make sure if you get the Solemates you try them on the heel right away. I didn't try mine out until the morning of my wedding and discovered I got the wrong size!
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
