Do you look up historical weather data for your date?

    Yes. I originally researched the weather and the foliage. Now that I'm moving the date, I will do the same re: weather.

    It hasn't rained on August 27th in a long long time.
    Now I don't know if that's good because we'll keep the streak alive, or bad because we're about due for rain

    ..... not that it really tells me anything.  But I can't help it :)

    I researched the weather, lunar cycle and tide charts!  I am very very Irish and learned that it was good luck to get married with a "growing moon and flowing tide" so I planned my date and time accordingly.

    My day looks perfect!!  Not too hot, not too cold, no precipitation or clouds!!  I love it!!  Thanks for the link - that was fun!  (and yes, now I'm afraid I jinxed myself, too!!)
