Oooh tattoos! I have 6 stars down my spine (from top to bottom), a blue star on each wrist, and a swirl of blue and yellow stars on my calves. I think I have something like 150+ stars on my body lol aaaaaannnnnnd I want more.

Our lawn people came today and cut the grass I planted in my garden this spring and it looks SO DAMN GOOD, its so lush and so thick and it just makes the whole space look 10x better than it did last year. Also? My green onions are finalyl growing :D

eta: this is the only one I can find:

  • Wow Nebb! Any meaning behind the stars?

(Also, I don't know if tattoos are considered personal so if it's rude to keep asking people, sorry!)

I feel like I saw a cool tattoo of this on Pinterest. Let me see.

Also, my dad was/is a huge Beatles fan (probably whose dad isn't, right?). Anyway, for our wedding, I was all set with the father-daughter dance song and then I just randomly changed it to "In My Life." It's always been one of my favorites, plus my dad is the one who introduced me to them. When the song came on, he got this huge smile on his face and asked how I picked it. It was a great moment.

I've always wanted a line from a Beatles song tattooed on me. I used to want "Living is easy with eyes closed", but now I think I want "The girl with kaleidoscope eyes" because my cousin was killed by her boyfriend in 2009 and I remember when we were kids, I was so jealous of her green eyes. We were only 9 months apart, she was like my sister. I really miss her.

No real meaning, I just figured that stars were the one thing I would never get tired of as I got older. And I still love them, I fully intend to get more stars, its sorta my thing now.

  • Hi ladies I am still at work for about another half-hour. I have no idea what is for dinner.

I am taking the morning off tomorrow. we are switching cable companies so that means we have to switch internet as well. The internet gave me a lovely window of 8-12 tomorrow. I don't mind too much I can get some housework done and start dinner.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Hey? : I've mentioned this a couple times before, but my dad got me hooked on Law & Order.  We always joked we'd dance to the theme song but ultimately decided on "My Girl".  My mom arranged for the band to start out with the theme song as a surprise.  It was great.

There was a deleted scene in Pulp Fiction where Mia (Uma Thurman) explains to Vincent (John Travolta) how there are two kinds of men in this world. Either you're a Beatles Man or an Elvis man. That's why when they pull up to Jack Rabbit Slim's for dinner she says "An Elvis man should love it".

  • Our HS chorus has a Beatles medley concert tonight. That's always a good one, but I just didn't have the energy to go this time.
  • I'm pretty sure my dad hates Elvis too. ha
  • I also kind of like this Walt Disney quote: "Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever". But that would be kinda big.

  • The one on my upper back stung a bit when the needle hit the spine (I'm pretty boney), but for me it's a good kind of pain.

The one I'm getting next will be words, across the side of my foot. Now if I could just decide between the 2 damn phrases.
  • Wanna know something creepy? Target now tells you how many times your registry has been viewed.
  • I'm surprised they could even get that to work, since our Target registry was always the balls. It never worked.

I want a foot tattoo too. I want to get a portion of one of the beck seachange covers wrapped around my ankle and foot, but with stars worked into it. Ive honestly wanted that for a good 7-8 years and never gotten around to it.

I think that's why I love getting tattoos so much. The pain is brief for such wonderful, lasting results. I'm definitely addicted.

  • Does yours have a crazy number of views Steph?
  • H wants to get a tattoo on his ring finger of our kids names. We should probably pick a name before he decides to do that though. ha
  • The pain of getting my belly button pierced was much worse than my tattoo (although the bone part hurt more).  I think my wrist one might be a huge bitchball of pain, though.
