We just finished dinner. Hot dogs and mac and cheese. I feel like a college kid or something. Now we are watching football. I really need Tom Brady to have a bad game. The guy I'm playing in fantasy has him and I'm only up 8.5 points on him.
We are the laziest SOBs I know. We didn't end up doing anything. Well, we took the dogs for a walk. I had wanted to go apple picking, but they were out of effing apples. So we did some cooking and sat our lazy asses on the couch all day.
I thought about you today KJB. We found a fun wine store in the plaza right up the street. Within walking distance, which also made me think of you Andy. But they have a wine of the month club, and they just added a sweet/dessert wine selection. I told H I'm definitely joining, thinking he would tell me its a waste of money, but he was all for it! I can't wait to go sign up for it. The best part is, while he's deployed I'll get to drink both bottles every month all to myself!
The pick-your-own pumpkin patch is open 7 days a week. We will be offering 3 for $10 from the pick your own patch while supplies last, minimum purchase $10. We encourage people to bring their own wagons to haul pumpkins from the patch.
Due to large crowds, and an early maturity of the apple crop, there are no pick-your-own apples remaining on the trees for this season. There will be plenty of apples for sale in the store for the rest of the season.

Today, I went to my friend's house while she was taking a break from prep for her brother's wedding. She made a lovely salad with almond grilled chicken, sauteed apples, cider vinegar, cherry dried cranberries, and pear slices. With an orange-pomegranate juice. Spent about two and a half hours there. I just love hanging out with her :^)
And, I found out this morning that my fiancee visa to the UK has been approved! After 44 freaking business days! Provided there are no errors on the visa (will find out tomorrow when it's delivered to me), and that I can get a flight over there for no later than October 13, absolutely no later, we can go ahead with the wedding on our planned date. So only 1/3 of the way to getting married over there but the biggest (and most expensive) hurdle has been cleared. Phewwwww....
Oooh, I don't know what red cheddar bread is, but it combines 2 of my favorite things, cheese and bread, so I'm sure its amazing.
Our wine shop is really cute, and has fun little gifts and stuff inside. I really wanted to buy this pin that said "why can i only say the word sober when I use air quotes?"
Watching HGTV while H and his friend watch football. Just ordered a pizza and waiting for it to arrive.
I'm drinking wine as well - cheap Yellowtail Shiraz. Being slightly buzzed always makes me want to participate in conversations here. Back when I was actually a reg, people probably thought I had a drinking problem because I always posted about wine It's good stuff.

I had an exciting day of work and sitting on the couch. We just finished painting and putting the living room together two weeks ago and this weekend just put curtains and shades up. With all of the painting and puppy training we haven't been watching much tv lately and when I sat down on the couch to relax for a bit, I realized I no longer remember what shows are on when or even what numbers my favorite channels are. I suppose that might be better for me though, I still have a lot of painting to do and once I sit down on the couch, I'm down for the evening.
How about you hand deliver me a loaf? And bring andy too? Haha I seriously wish we could make our own GTG. We would probably all be drunk and passed out within an hour.

I put my cats AND dog into timeout all the time. Sometimes it works. We put our cats in the bathroom when they get too playful in the middle of the night and the next day they are on their best behavior.

One of my cats tries to kill one of the other cats every damn day. I don't know how to get him to stop. I really don't want to have to separate them during the say, but I think I might have to. He gets timeout almost every day, it doesn't seem to work.
Haha my parents used to give their dog a timeout in the basement when people would come over because she would go crazy jumping on them. She would just cry at the basement door and scratch at it until she was let out. Our dog really doesn't act up. He makes me throw his toy of choice like 10 times, then sleeps for an hour. Then he wakes up to do it again. He's actually sleeping right now, and I'm dreading him waking up because I know I need to take him out and I don't feel like it. I'm mean.

Alcohol is definitely not a joke. I am very serious about my love for it.
I'm pretty sure once upon a time I did an "Ask me anything" thread and someone asked why I drank so much. The answer is "Because it's AWESOME."

Oh, and I'm drinking loganberry wine.
Married!
How are they out of apples? Weird.
