Let's discuss some celebrity gossip.

I am waiting for UPS to come (h8 UPS) and watching Season 1 of the X-Files on my Netflix Instant (nerd alert).

Remember when there was all of that tension between Moulder and Scully? And how cute was David Dochvny?!

I have my opinion on their sexual tension relationship, but what are yours?

    Boo, I don't watch x files but at work we're taking bets on Brett Michaels prognosis. I bet that he will be completely fine and the 2 other girls said he will have brain damage. Whoever wins gets a candy bar...
    Obviously we're all hoping for the best.

    I voted for it never working just because I just could never imagine them together. They always have to create sexual tension for those shows (Bones, Moonlighting, etc), but I never really think about what would happen if they really got together.

    Cew, did you see the new movie that came out? It was a pretty good explanation. I still thing she always wanted to jump his bones...but maybe I'm projecting.

    I think my inability to leave my apt because of UPS is getting to me.

    I'm all for celebrity gossip, but it's always kinda bugged me that the tagline for this board is almost the same as the one for Chit Chat. Apples and oranges, people.

    And I didn't watch the X-Files, so I'm just extra unhelpful in this thread. :(

I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     Bret Michaels had a brain hemorrhage over the weekend. He's in critical condition.

    Bret Michaels had a subarachnoid hemorrhage (a brain bleed).  He's in intensive care.  Just a couple weeks after having an appendectomy.  Strange, huh?  Not sure if it's a coincidence or not...

    Wow. That's awful about Brett Michaels.

    Xoxo - I didn't see the new movie. I loved X files, but only when it was about ghosts or other weirdness. I tuned out when the conspiracy stuff got really heavy. I also wasn't a fan of their alien related episodes. I think it was just all about the conspiracy stuff there at the end.

    I only liked the first 4 seasons. Then, it got too much about the actual FBI, agreed.

    I had to see the new movie though. My 10 year old self was way too excited about it.

    The are speculating it might be related to the head injury he sustained while on tour last year (when the part of the set fell onto his head), but they aren't sure right now.

    Yes, he was on Rock of Love.  He was in the 80s band Poison, as well.

    I don't think subarachnoid hemorrhages are usually the result of injury - they call that something different.  They are usually the result of a ruptured aneurysm.  Because he has a history of diabetes, he may have also had had high blood pressure, which would put him at higher risk of subarachnoid hemorrhage.
    I'm just speculating though.

    When we were young, my sister, my BFF and I had a "pact" that whoever got married first had to proclaim their undying love for David Duchovny; tell him that we loved him, but could no longer wait for him, etc.

    I had completely forgotten about it.  Guess who's framed picture was pulled out at the RD?

    Agreed, I'm just passing along the info I read.  The doctors are speculating it might have something to do with that injury.
