Happy Tuesday

Morning everyone!
Today is my last full day of school (tomorrow is a half day). It's so hard to believe. I just wish I knew what was going on next fall. As of now, I have no clue.

Today is the big recall election in Wisconsin. I am very excited because this means those stupid ads can finally stop. They have been getiting relentless. And repetitive.

And, thought I'd be an AW and share the photo from my dress fitting/hair and makeup trial from this weekend

Morning! Not much going on here today; kinda boring. I've been a bit of an online-shopaholic lately. I need to chill the eff out, but there's so much cute summer stuff.

I also need to figure out what I want to make for dinner. I made baked salmon with quinoa and brussels sprouts for dinner last night.

Looks great, Chels! You're getting so close!

If you're looking for some ideas, I have some great recipes in my pinterest. My two favs are the shrimp/feta bake or the honey mustard crunchy chicken. Yumm.

I feel ya. I've seriously considered hiring a laundry service. Laundry is the one thing I hate doing.

So funny story: My allergies have been really bad the last few days and this morning when I woke up, I could barely talk and when I did, it was really deep and scratchy, like an 80 year old smoker. I said something to the dog and she barked at me! Apparently I sound a lot different than I normally do or something.

I over slept this morning too and I hate that feeling. I'm also waiting to hear back from a job interview from last week and its driving me crazy! We only have 5 days of school left and I'm so excited for summer!

Most likely the 30th. We check out of our house on the 29th and are looking to pick up the keys to our new place in VA on the 2nd or 3rd, so yeah we're looking at the 30th. But, I'll keep ya posted on our plans regardless if they change or not. ;-)

That's funny Mara. I had to be on tv last night so Ben had it on for a bit to see if Lucy would recognize me. He said she heard my voice and was looking all over for me but didn't seem to notice me on the screen.

Morning!

I way overslept this morning, and then got distracted before I got in the shower. I still made it to work early though, which is fantastic. I've got a ton of stuff going on right now, and I'm exhausted, but I'm hoping that after tomorrow things will calm down. On the upside, I do have Happy Hour tonight!

I have to go back and continue deliberations today. I'm really not looking forward to it. The up side is that if we're still there at lunchtime 2 of the other ladies and I are going to a schwanky place for lunch. Unfortunately we'll have to pass on the cocktails.

I should be back to work tomorrow and I can't wait. I never thought I'd be saying that!

AATB - that's pretty funny about Lucy. I can only imagine what Moose would do if he could hear FH but not see him.

My summer break is over as of today. My spring semester finished on 5/21, summer session 1 starts today. It was a nice two week break. I have class from 5:15-10pm on Tuesday and Thursday until 6/28. I'm taking a class on using art in the early childhood classroom. I've heard it's a good class, so I'm looking forward to it.

I need to go pick up my dress from DB and ifgure out where it's going to live until I get it altered. The closet has bins on the floor, so I need to move things around so it can hang neatly. I can't wait until December and we move out of this little apartment. Having a place that's above ground and hopefully has more than one closet will be amazing.

ETA: Chels, your dress is really pretty, as are you in it.

AATB- our dogs do that if we ever call each other on the phone and they can hear our voice. It's hilarious.

I have meetings all day at work, and I'm using that as an excuse to not be productive. I'm technically in 3rd tri today- wtf. Where did the last 6 months go?! On a semi-related note, the first babies from my month board were born. Twins... at 24 weeks. I can't even imagine.

Morning....

ouch JC!!!!

I am literally dragging today. We spent ALL weekend working on our kitchen reno. I worked from home yesterday and pitched in on the painting too. We went to bed at 1am again. I feel so friggin tired. Basically, our kitchen was great to begin with but very builder's grade. Over the last two weeks we've added hardware to all the cabinets, repainted the kitchen, a hallway, entryway and stairs (it's a townhouse) and we've added board and batten to the walls in the entry way, stairs and kitchen. SO MUCH WORK for that look. I also created a cornice box for the window over our sink. Next stop- add 2 coats of white to the board and batten and put up a tile backsplash. so much tired in my future.

not sure why I included a list but typing it up at least helped me keep track :-P

thanks pirate. I am beyond excited (hence the laundry list) but I am dead on my feet today. Basically- we want to list our house ina couple of years but we want our townhouse to stand out. Our game plan is to DIY as much as we can now before kids so that once we have a child and list theplace, it will be in decent shape.

Morning- I am in a pretty good mood- I only have to work until around 10:30 and then we drive across town for a dept. BBQ/get-together, and then go home early. So nice to have a break from the normal day-to-day. Maybe I will actually get some sun today.

We have morning meetings at work and todays was to write down our dreams and make it into a paper airplane and see how far it would go. Mine rocked it and my boss challenged me to a competition of who made the best plane. Both of ours went completely across the office but his went like one foot further. I have to admit, stuff like that makes me wonder if I'm just being a terrible misery guts by being unhappy there. I'm so confused.
