MSP GTG?

Hi, Knotties :)  Are there regular MSP GTGs?  Now that I'm in the throws of planning, I'd love to meet some of you all!  I'm more of a regular on the Vegas board, but I'd like to change that and be here more. :)

    We haven't had a GTG for awhile now, & there's a bunch of new people, so I'd say it's time for another!

    I still have one pending for after wedding season!  I've just been too busy to organize it with my wedding coming up.  A while back I asked the girls if anyone would be interested in a GTG with my financial advisor, Katherine, who I've known and been working with for 6 years now - and there was a great response!  She is going to talk about things like merging finances together with a spouse, saving for the future, college funds, etc. and anything else people want to hear about.  I'm thinking probably in October will work the best, once I can get this wedding planning over with!!  :)  Location TBD, but any suggestions would be great - somewhere that has a semi-private room with good food (she'll be hosting appetizers) and is centrally located.  I'll keep you all posted when I can start planning it!

    Haha yup we are!  I'll just need a few weeks to pull my life together after the wedding, and then I promise I will get it going!!  I'll make sure to get date/day suggestions so that you and lots of the girls can make it :)

    Hey lady - fancy seeing you here:) Something happen on the Vegas board or just wanting a change of scenery? I post on this one sometimes but usually more on Vegas as more pertains to that one obviously I guess. I love the Mpls. Board though, wish I could post here more!:)

    Count me in for this get together.  Love the topic idea (esp on the merging finances part).   Not sure what you've done in the past but weekdays M-T-W are usually best for me.  Not sure how many will attend, but some meeting place options:

    Let me know how I can hel pull this together for October with enough notice to folks prior.

    I have been lurking on these threads to see if the GTG with Jenn is still gonna happen -- it looks like it is, which is great! Not sure how i could help with it, with the exception of maybe making one of those e-vite things, though Jenn seems to know more about what works for her financial advisor. :) Let me know if I can help.
