anyone seen the sandman???

Sept 1st ladies.... we are down to 18 days.... I have everything in order.  all the vendors are paid, centerpieces made, favors done, attire purchased and ready to go, but for some reason I haven't been waking up with a complete list of things to do or worry about.  I can't even get 5 hours of sleep and the nights keep getting shorter the closer we get. 

So if any of you ladies see the sandman..... please send him my way!!!!

    I had a tossing and turning night last night worrying about what i was missing. I would wake up every few hours. Think for a bit. Then struggle to get back to sleep. I am one month out today. This canNOT keep up for the entire month.

    So unfortunately the sandman is not at my house?

    I was thinking about posting last night about this, too! I wasn't worrying about stuff, I was just too excited to sleep! Our wedding is Sept 1, and we met with the reception venue yesterday, and it's all coming together. 18 days left for us!

    I make to do list all day long. I am someone who will fall asleep anywhere anytime if I am tired lol. There would have to be a 3 ring circus in my room lol. But my thoughts wander all day long. I will be in the middle of something ang then just start making 1000 lists in my head. I will def. let the sandman know to come yout way Wink

    Ditto this!  I pass out all the time (on Sunday FI and I went to bed at 9:30!!! haha).  But focusing during the day is a different story.  My mind is always jumping to wedding stuff.  It is a problem.

    My date is Sept. 1st too!

    ...and I am also totally not able to sleep either. I've been trying to have a glass of wine (cheating on my wedding diet!) before bed to help me fall asleep but I'm waking up several times in the middle of the night too! I just have to tell myself that I have it under control and I DEFINITELY am list-obsessed right now!!

    18 days....wow!

    Unfortunately there is no sandman over here. I was up at 3 AM again today and decided to just head into work (bad decision). I would love for him to pay me a visit ASAP. I just can't seem to clear my head!

    I'm having no problems sleeping, and not stressed at all.  I think it's because work is so busy that I sort of can focus on that and all that I have to get done there.  I have a due date on Aug 20th for work, so I think once that's done and dealt with, I can relax a bit and that might be when the stress starts.  But overall, doing just fine!  It's 9:20pm, and I'm headed to bed with a good book and our cuddly puppy!

    Take an Advil PM or two.  No caffeine after 12pm.  Exercise.  Eat well.  No (or only a little) alcohol.  And voila!  Happy sleeping!!!

    Apparently, I've started this already (and I've still got 37 days to go!)... this week, I've started not being able to get to sleep, even though I'm tired, 'cause my mind is racing over wedding stuff.  If this keeps up, I'm gonna be a mess by the wedding -- I need my sleep. *sigh*
