Re: WoW

  • Agreed CL. It was also a situation where as guild leader, WoW was the only place where he felt like people listened to him. He was an asss (I see that now, not so much back then) who was very "I'm right, you're wrong" so most people who didn't share his views just ignored him. He would be like "Omg I can't go to work now, they need a tank for ZG!"

I finally had it when I realized I was living life as a single mom. I was the only one making money to pay the bills, I cooked all of the food for both of us, woke him up in the morning when he did have a job, cleaned, etc. Um..no, not so much.

My first main was a druid, then I started rolling mages. Now I can't imagine not being able to teleport.

I've had the addiction conversation on several occasions so I'm not going to go on a rant. Whatever I would say has already been been said. It depends on the person, some people suck at keeping certain things under control, some others are absolutely fine.

My FSIL has banned my FI's brother from playing (he overdid for a little while to be fair), but them she'll watch hours of reality TV non-stop. I don't see how it's any different.

    Edited to correct typos.

FI's mom does this same thing! And she still lectures him that he needs to get off the computer and do things either around the house or for her. I'm sorry lady, but you don't even clean your own house! At least your son can and is making money from his addiction to technology!

    /end rant, sorry <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />

Indeed, this chick watches as much crap TV and lame shows as she can (hours of it) and then complains because we are gamers. She can do whatever she wants with her spare time, but I don't appreciate the double standards. As long as it doesn't affect normal life and people are responsible I don't see the problem. Everything in moderation.
