Lame or cute?

Okay so i need opinions here.

1) One of my most recent email from the Knot showed these mad-lib style guest book pages that i thought were FANTASTIC. Here's a pic. I think they are awesome, especially because one of my best memories from when i was a kid was doing these on holidays with all of our extended family. My dad would say the name "bill" for everything, noun, adjective, verb, etc. It was hysterical.

2) Table numbers - math flash cards. So, i found this idea online about using vintage math flash cards as table numbers. Honestly, the flash cards dont look much different vintage or new so id probably get new. I thought this was a very unique idea and would really reflect my style (im a huge math geek - have a degree in it and everything). So the card would say like 4+3=7 and it would be table 7. Its quirky. I could even make my own.

Let me know if these sound lame to you or if they are cute. Obviously FI has to approve any of these ideas but i dont think he'll have an issue - he kinda lets me run with things. We want to add some personality into our wedding and i think these are cute ways to do so...what do you think?

Cuuuuuute! I love the madlibs, too!

Another possible vintage table number idea--old tarot cards (I know a knottie on here before was getting married in New Orleans so that would fit with her theme) or old playing cards would work too!

Well, we did madlibs for our RSVPs, so I'm fully in favor of that one!

I'm kinda neutral on teh flash cards though. But then, I hate math ;-)

I love the math flashcards idea! That's definitely something different, and sounds like it would be perfect for you.

That actually just gave me the idea to make all my table numbers in binary! I wonder if that would be too confusing though..

RobotCake: I thought about doing binary table numbers too, but only one of the groomsmen can actually read it, so he'd have to translate it for everyone. We nixed the idea cause we arent doing table numbers.

I love the idea of the math flashcards though.

I also love madlibs. huge part of growing up for me.

I'll see what my fiance thinks about the binary idea.. probably most people wouldn't get it, but we could translate into decimal on the other side like Nukke suggested.
