    Need some Ts and Ps...
    My Grandpa just called and his wife just passed away. She has been sick for a very long time. We weren't very close to her until a few years ago....(my grandma and grandpa got divorced when I was little and there was some jealousy stuff)


    So if you could keep him in your thoughts I would really appreciate it.

    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    15 years. So a very very long time. I know he loved her so much. I wasn't ever really close to her but I did love her and will miss her. She had the best sense of humor!

    Hey everyone!  I've only scanned a few posts in this thread, so Barbie, I'm really sorry about your step-grandmother and you're in my T&Ps. Everyone else, yay for new bling, new kitties, and almost new babies!  And you all should FB stalk me right now and look at pictures of the baby shower I threw for my SIL yesterday.  Especially the beautiful cradle my dad built for them.  I'm really proud :)

    H is watching this taxidermy show on the History channel right now, and it's pretty crazy.  I can't believe how much people pay for some of them.  Speaking of taxidermy, did anyone see that Amanda Seyfriend (from Mamma MIa) bought a 3 month old dead miniature horse that she is going to have stuffed in her house?  Who stuffs random animals?

    Right?  My parents have been working on it for months and kept it a secret from everyone.  It's gorgeous, too.  It's all imported African mahogany and Alaskan white cedar.
