Last year we didn't get a raise so I was hoping for a decent one this year. Not so. I ended up getting a raise. They offered practically nothing at first but I countered but they didn't give me the counter amount. They gave me a little more than they originally offered. I tried to fight that one too but accepted it in the end. Turns out some people didn't get raises or got practically nothing so I was appreciative of what I got.
