first fitting pics

The dress is too large, so it all needs to be taken in, but we are waiting 3 weeks since I have been losing weight.  The straps are going to be moves wider, and shortened.  I still need to decide whether to tack down the poufs a bit, and whether to add the beaded applique or not.  I would love your input on the beading!!! -

I love the simple beauty of the dress without the applique. You could easily glam it up with jewelry. I'm very much a less is more kind of girl though.

I don't think the applique detracts from the beading, but its all about how much glam you want on it. I can't talk- my bodice is HEAVILY beaded so I definitely seem to like the bling (which is weird because in nonwedding world i hate bling). I think this flower is gorgeous.. but you could leave the dress alone and instead do something similar in your hair?

the plan for hair - 1st pic is the veil, second is similar to the hair, third is a stupid attempt with no bobby pins.

Love the hair and the dress and I would vote no applique as well. The material is so beautiful it doesn't need it.

I voted no applique as well. I love the material Maria used on your dress!

Your dress is beautiful!  I voted no applique - I think it's pretty enough without it.  I think it's just the right amount of poufiness too.

I think your dress is gorgeous and doesn't need anything else! I would glam it up with some vintage jewels and be done! :) Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
