Question about Pierre's of South Brunswick

Hi everyone. I got engaged in Oct of 2010 to my wonderful fiance and we are looking to get married in June of 2012.

I just started looking at venues in Central Jersey and came across Pierre's of SB. I really liked the place, and I was wondering if anybody went to a wedding there or got married there. I am looking for some more info on the place before we go back and take a second look and get more information. TIA!

I haven't been to a wedding, but I have been to 3 affiars there (as corny as it sounds, I have chaperoned proms - I'm a high school teacher) and I think the set up and service was great. I don't know if food can really be compared because I don't know what packages/plans have been used by the prom coordinators.

I've been to a baby shower there and was impressed with their Brunch Buffet!

Fi used to have work functions there all the time. Food was always good.

my FI used to work there...and he refused to let me even consider the place for our reception...he says the cooks have disgusting habits but, honestly, this probably goes on in the majority of places and we just don't know about it....as they say, ignorance is bliss

Thanks ladies for all your responses! I swear I hate this part trying to find a place. i wish it was over and done with already. Its so not easy doing this and being a full time employee and grad student.

i haven't eaten at the restaurant in ages, but i've been to a few parties catered by them somewhat more recently and the food was delicious. the cake i had from them was sooooo good!
