  I have to confirm..side eye buutt FI parents claim they will host RD on the backyard. Because it will be holiday weekend and most of our guest will be traveling to go back on the holiday we might do Hamburgers, hotdogs, bake beans, potato salad, cole slaw for the hotdogs for my southern folks chips, corn on the cob, and all the fixings for the burgs and dogs. Thats if its nice and no rain If we inside the menu is Fish Shrimp Chicken wing dings Spaghetti Salad Cole slaw Rolls. Of course some cocktails, punch, and I said want cheesecakes since well be having cupcakes/cake at the wedding next day.

  We had ours at a nearby restaurant. It was a seated dinner including : steak, fish, mashed potatoes, and key lime pie.

  
  

  We hosted the meal with the soft drinks. People ordered drinks crabs, etc but paid for it on their own

  We had a rehearsal lunch since our rehearsal was held at noon. We took the bridal party and family out to a Mexican restaurant since we were hosting mostly east coasters in Arizona. Hubby picked the bill but made it clear that we weren't paying for alcohol which he ended up paying for any case cause only one of his grooms men had a beer. I wish I had put a little bit more thought it this. The food wasn't that great. I picked the place based on location and how close it was to the venue and the hotel guests were staying. We also don't have a single picture from that part of our wedding weekend. I think I was so distracted at that point....that's why its good to think of all of these details ahead of time and designate someone to think about these things for you i.e. have someone be in charge of your camera the entire weekend.

  bbq chicken

  cole slaw
  assorted buns
  chips/dips
  veggie tray
  cake

  mashed potato bar
  baked macaroni
  spaghetti
  salad
  meat, cheese, veggie tray
