Father/Daughter with Mother/Son

We are thinking of combining the father/daughter and mother/son dance.  Has anyone done this or have ideas about it?  We thought my dad and I could start and then he and his mom could join in halfway through.  For a song we were thinking of "My Girl".

    we did this.  we had both couples dance at the same time... the floor was big enough and nobody minded.  we used "the way you look tonight" (sinatra) becuase it could apply to both couples.  my girl would be okay too.....i'd say go for it!

    overall i like this idea. it makes the 'ceremony dances' short and sweet, which most of the wedding doesn't care about these dances anyway aside from 10-20 seconds of "aww, thats sweet" and taking 2-3 photos. lol

    This is our plan as well. We haven't decided on a song yet. Possibilities include "what a wonderful world" and "kind and generous"
