Should i get an Engagement gift for my Fiance???

Hey girls! This is my first official post! yay! Anyways, has anyone heard of the bride-to-be getting an engagement present for their fiance?? We have our engagement party at the end of feb and I was wondering if this is proper etiquitte? If this is true, then i need suggestions asap! Thanks soo much!!

    I don't know anything about the right etiquitte, but I was wondering the same thing.  I'd like to get something for my boyfriend that he could treasure, reminding him of our engagement.

    Since I'm pretty sure he's going to propose to me on a getaway weekend, I'm going to try and find something while we are there that I can give him later.  The question is what to get?

    I don't want to get any kind of jewelry, because he never wears any (a wedding ring will be a stretch for him).  His watch is very special to him and so I can't replace it. What else could I get?

    Anyway, I've hijacked your post, lol.  I think it's a sweet idea!  What would you get him?

    im planning on saving up for a vacation to our favorite place in the world (not all that expensive) for the both of us this summer. We spend most of the year apart 3000 miles away so a vacation to Morro Bay would be good for us

    haha I was wondering this too. My bf keeps asking me what I'm going to get him since I get a ring. (sigh) I guess I'll just get him a game or something.

    I actually bought him an extra special present for Christmas  (he proposed a few days before). I got him a Fender Strat guitar and amp so he could start playing again. Also, because I want him to serenade meLaughing

    We are going to Disney for a few days too to celebrate our engagement Laughing

    I have a PS 3 waiting for him as soon as we make it official. I know gifts are not necessary but its more of a I love you gift.
