To Limo or Knot to Limo

We were planning on a Limo but now the venue site has changed from a church ceremony (10 miles from Church to venue)  to the ceremony and reception at the same place.  I'll be staying at a hotel within 2 miles of the place and my FI will be at home.   Any suggestions?  Undecided

    Sounds like the situation we are in. We're skipping the limo. Just not worth the money to us!

    We are in the same situation. We are just driving our own cars. I didn't think it was worth the extra money for only being a couple of miles away. Plus it's one less thing to worry about. Ps love your play on words. Cute!

    I'm in the same situation too. I don't know yet. I don't really want to waste the money either.

    Me too! I am staying at a hotel less than a mile away.. but I am gettng a limo. I dont want to try and shove myself with my dress into a car. Also I dont want my whole bridal party to have to walk there. We are also doing a shuttle for the guests which I guess we could use but I wanted the limo.

    We are being driven to the ceremony/reception site and I'm getting ready there. We ARE booking a car to take us from the reception to the hotel though, since neither one of us wants to worry about being the DD (not that we're huge drinkers, but still) or fitting my dress into our Accord or Prius. We're actually getting a Bentley and found a few places that would do a 1-way transfer, as opposed to making us rent a car for 3 hours, so it's not TOO much extra money.

    We thought of our own cars, I never thought of the dress or the drinking either....All valid points.  I like the one way transfer idea also...
