S/O "bad parenting" FB status

FB friend posted a general "keep negative BFing comments to yourself" status update.  Someone suggested that she was spoiling her 6 month old by continuing to breastfeed.  This was the reply from some idiot friend of hers.

"People are so stupid I swear. I think non-breast feeding mom's feel threatened by good mommies who are doing what's best for their babies! It's not our fault they are selfish! lol...don't get me started ; )19 hours ago · Like"

I wanted to reach through the monitor punch this person in the throat. What am I supposed to do, let my baby starve in a futile effort to exclusively BF? She is queen of stupid.

    I love my fat baby. My baby would not be fat unless he got some formula. People can bite me. I was all gung ho to breastfeed exclusively but when your baby can't get it, your milk supply tanks, you do what you have to do.

    I'm certain my baby will weigh in at 12lbs at his appointment on Thursday. As disappointing as not bfing exclusively has been I'm not so selfish as to keep trying. If he needs formula to make up the difference, that's what he's going to get. I'd rather have my fat baby and his double chin than an angry, skinny baby.

    ugh. I have a friend like this.  It doesn't help that the BFing gestapo insists that it is *incredibly* rare for a woman to be unable to breastfeed. Like a fraction of a percent rare.  Ooooookay.

    Facebook does need a "junk punch " button.

    I had a stupid Urgent Care doc look down his nose at me for starting formula at 6 months.  I was going through all of the gallbladder and upper GI testing that led to a surgery.  The snide doc said "What, you didn't have enough supply frozen?"  Bastard.

    But even if you're technically able, there are plenty of other reasons not to BF. I got my period back at 2 mos. pp - and the PMS at 4 months. I was passing all those hormones through my milk to Bacon, who would then SCREAM for a week. That's not good for a baby, and it's certainly not good for a mother. 

    And there are plenty of people who just plain can't stand it. I'll give up a lot of stuff for my kid, and yeah, I BFed for 6 months, but I hated every minute of it, and I resented the hell out of my kid for being hungry. That's not right, and it's not going to be some magical bonding experience if you're always like, "AGAIN? Stop being hungry!"

    Can I jump on the "it's free!" wagon o' hate?
    it's only free if my time is worth nothing.

    seeing as i'm typing one handed to hold pump bits to me...I can't even begin to tell you the time this is gonna take ro continue...and plusoh, the mr can't help feed.  which sux at 4 am
