When I flew to meet DH (then BF) family back in 05 I borrowed my grandmas suitcase and she always had a corkscrew with her. I put my carryon through the scanner and they found it. I had no clue it was there. The blade on the corkscrew was so rusted that it wouldn't even come out. I gave my grandma a hard time about it.

Now I know I'm loosing my mind. I'm trying to see how long I can keep a folded piece of paper suctioned to my mouth by breathing in...I've officially gone off the deep end...

FI had a pocket knife confiscated at a baseball game once. He was going to a game in Cincy and President Bush was throwing out the first pitch so security took it from him when he entered the ballpark. I'm not really sure what damage they though he was going to with a pocket knife from the upper deck. Oh well.

Yeah, our pavement hasn't been dry in weeks. My backyard is like a swamp and the pups are driving me insane! I don't mind a little rain, but I'm over this.

Sorry guys, had to eat my jimmy johns.
Tortis-- No, she doesn't care about me living with J. We already have done that. She just doesn't want me moving to the house I'm looking at because its 40 min away from her instead of 5-10 min. We are SUPER close and spend a LOT of time together, and she has all these reasons why it would be a bad idea. But I can't please her all the time. I think it will be hard for me too because I hate upsetting her because of how close we are.

Survivor has bored me this season. I hate when the teams merge and one entire team just gets voted out one right after the next. I guess I hate when people stupidly follow one person and you know exactly who is going to go.

That being said, I really want Matt to win.

I know the feeling about moms. I decided to stay and move in with my FI instead of moving 300 miles away with my grandparents when they moved. Then when my moms BF passed away and she moved to be with them I got grief for still staying here. 75% of the family that I had here has moved those 300 miles away now and the only ones left is my dads and his family. I think I will always get a lot of grief for living so far away. Especially with the first grandchild coming along.

Yeah I'm not looking forward to it. I have a feeling the conversation will end in tears for me. I'm REALLY terrible with not crying when I argue with someone. It is kind of embarassing. I know her primary concern is my commute to school, but seriously, she needs to calm down.

Bree - honestly I don't remember what we spent it on. We put it in the checking account and a few of our splurges on our honeymoon were paid for with we got wedding money let's just do this" but we didn't specify we got $X from aunt so and so for the shower let's do this with it.

This reminds me of my spanish two class in college. I took all the way through spanish 5 in high school, but my school didn't offer a lot of language options and I needed to take two for my international degree.

Anyway, all through spanish one I read a book in class and my teacher asked me every day why I showed up because I never had to study and I aced everything. So the next year when I was signed up for spanish two (at 8am) the first day of class he tells me, "These are the chapters we're going to cover this semester. I'll give you the final at the end of the week. Whatever you get on the final will be your grade for the class and you won't have to come back." I got a 97, and 2 extra hours of sleep. :-)
