Groomsmen Gifts

Hi everybody,

I'm the groom and am pretty lost as to what to get my groomsmen....any suggestions?  I saw the pocket watches on The Knot for sale (14.99), but is that too impractical?  I'm wanting to spend between $20-$25 per person.  Thanks for your help and any great ideas you may have!

    For my friends pocket watches would never be used... but it's personal preference.
    What about a Tshirt from a local pub/bar everyone likes?  A tie to wear the day-of? GIft cert to a golf course if they're golfers?

    Almost all of our guys smoke cigars so we got them embossed cigar cases and put in two cigars. They loved them. Something they really could use (and they did).

    DH was a GM in a friend's wedding recently, and his gift was pretty fun.  The Groom bought t-shirts for all the GM to change into at the reception.  The shirts were those tuxedo t-shirts :)  So once all the guys wanted to lose the tuxes, they all still looked alike (and they definitely stood out :))

    My fiance got his guys the personalized cooler bags that the knot sells filled with "manly stuff" like barbeque sauce, mini bottles of alcohol, beef jerky, hot sauce, and peanuts.

    I know this is out of the price range and completely not helpful, but I saw this and LOVE the idea.... personalized Louisevlle Slugger baseball bats. I want one myself!

    I think it's all about considering their personal tastes... sports lover: tickets to a game or gift certificate; alcohol drinker: engraved flask or an arrangement of locally brewed beers, you get the point. I personally would just treat it as if you were getting them each a birthday present. They don't have to be the same (unless it's easier on you).

    we got monogrammed mugs from Sterling cut glass and only spent about that price.

    All of H's gm are "professional" guys, so we got them each a set of monogrammed sterling silver cufflinks from Aerabella's.  Nice quality, fast work, and good price (depending on how many you need, you can probably get a discount).

    My FI got his groomsmen a bottle of their favorite liquor and a glass with their monogram on it.

    My FI is getting his groomsmen personalized cufflinks, and when I say personalized I mean getting cufflinks with the groomsman's favorite sports team on them.  Its a cute idea, its definitely something from FI's heart and something he knows his groomsmen will like.

    My husband bought engraved flash drives from Things Remebered . com.  He had each guys name engraved on one side and the date on the other.  All the guys seemed to like them and they certainly will be able to use them!

    We got our groomsmen 1 liter macho mugs with their favorite sports logo on.  Then, we put 10 of the $1 lottery tickets in each one.  We bought a string of 70 of the same ticket. We figured that way someone was sure to win something decent.  It was fun to see people win a few bucks.  They all loved it!  Then, they used their mugs during the reception.
