...I immediately thought the same thing.  And then I felt bad.

I googled him and found this webpage talking about washed up child stars and there were a few other photos of him that were newer than that one - that photo is from 2006, I think.  There was also a video of him on some sort of religion rant, haha.

Yes, let me clarify.  Not sexy as in, I find you sexy face but as in, that is interesting that you think that is sexy face.

  • Speaking of earwax - Nebb (I think it was you?), I saw you mentioned in another thread recently about using Qtips to clean ear wax out.  Don't do that!! You can break your ear drum really easily that way.  Ear wax is actually antibacterial, so some of it is a good thing.  If you absolutely have to clean it out, they sell stuff at drug stores you can use, but yeah - don't use Qtips!!

  • They also make coconut M&Ms.  Which are theshit.

  • Problem Child scares me.

    Atreyu will always be awesome.

I wouldn't have recognized Nick Carter in that last pic if his name wasn't in the headline. He looks completely different.

I miss Nickelodeon.  I'd still watch if the shows weren't stupid now. The older shows were awesome, like the older Disney shows. Sometimes they play them really late at night and I watch them.
  • LP- I know the dangers, but I use them every single morning after the shower. I hate feeling like I have water in my ear.  I always stand still with my arm away from the door so it can't be opened and hit me.  I'm also very light and don't stick it in far (TMI?).

Im pathetically addicted to qtips. I cant stop using them. I try and then I cave and use one, its like Im addicted to heroin or something. I start having fits, my ears get itchy or feel weird and its all I can think about until I use one. Its not like I clean my ears out CONSTANTLY, but atleast once a day or I go insane.

I hold my hand out with every door I pass so it won't hit me, whether I have something in my hand or not. To get to my room growing up I had to walk through a narrow hallway, with the garage door right there. I got hit so many times walking past the door that now it's just a habit.

    Possibly gorss/ TMI....

I had a really bad ear infection a few years ago, and my ear drum slightly burst or whatever.
I saw a specialist that gave me these drops to put in my ear, and I could hear it pop and crackle. I cant stand the thought of my ears not being clean since then.

Ive heard if you pour peroxide in your ears it will do that, but im too afraid to pour anything in my ears.

Id just rather stick long cardboard sticks in there lol
  • No one uses more q-tips than my sister.  And she is weird about them.  She wastes so much makeup - she puts her eyeliner on so thick that she looks like the Queen of the Psycho Damned, then she puts a small dab of lotion on a q-tip and wipes most of the eyeliner off so all that's left is a tiny, thin line.  Then she gets mascara literally ALL over her upper and lower lids while putting it on and again uses a little lotion on a q-tip to wipe it off.

She's 25 damn years old and this is how she puts her makeup on.  Wtf.  Think of all the makeup she wastes.  And q-tips!!

<div>No matter how careful you think you are, it is so easy to accidentially push it in too far. Your ear canal is only about 2 cm long.  My BS is in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, and my H is an audiologist, so this is kind of a weird soap box issue for me, haha.  As much as I would love more deaf people in the world to hang out with, I don't want punctured ear drums to be the cause of it ;)</div>

  • Is that some kind of soda, les? I've never heard of that before.

When I was younger, we had a few years with really bad hurricanes. So for some reason, Budweiser (I think it was Bud) started canning water. Like, soda cans with water. They were white, and I thought they were the coolest thing ever. Canned water! Now I realize how stupid it was to think they were cool.

This is so off topic, but I am honestly more afraid of blowing out my ear drums on an airplane or under water than this way.  My dad will 'pop' his ears by breathing in deep, holding his nose and trying to breathe out. It makes me cringe just to think about it.  Then on a movie (or TV show?)  I saw someone go under water too far and the pressure did it.  You would think I would be worried about something that is much more likely.

A few years back I q-tipped too many times and ended up tearing the inside of my ear and it got infected :S I scaled back big time after that cause it majorly sucked. So I see where you are coming from, but I will never give it up completely.

Yes! I thought it was cool then but now I think it's kind of nasty when I think about it. Did you ever drink "Bawls"? I don't think they make it anymore, it was an energy drink I'm pretty sure, and it was kind of scandalous at my private school. It was in a blue studded bottle.

How are you supposed to clean your ears then? It KILLS me when you can see someone's earwax like on the edge of the inside of their ear (if that makes sense). I'm not sure I could ever give up q-tips completely either :(
  • It makes you feel even older when you never had any interest in some of this stuff because you were already too old for it and have been complaining about the graduating classes since 2000 (the 1st kids I babysat).

  • I've never heard of Simba or Orbitz.
After a google search, it looks like one of the Japanese markets carries something similar. Hm.

I bought a single, glass bottle of coke at the store Saturday.
It was beyond delicious. I don't know why it tastes so much better in the bottle.

    Canned water sounds weird!
